All-On-4® Dental Implants

One of the best things about All-On-4® dental implants is they can easily restore your entire smile with only four simple implants. Another added benefit is you can have your smile back in a single day with a single surgery rather than have to undergo several sittings to receive your implants.

In regards to the disadvantages, more bone may be required to hold the implants firmly in place.  This is due to the deterioration of the jaw bone from the lack of the stabilizing teeth for an extended period of time.  In this case, even though you can receive your implants in a single day with a single procedure, you may require the additional procedure of a bone graft.

Traditional Dentures

When you compare traditional dentures to All-On-4®, benefits of the traditional option include having an easy time of replacing your missing teeth, a lower cost, and not needing to worry about other possible oral health issues you may be suffering from such as a shift in your bite, bone deterioration requiring bone augmentation, or any other common jaw issues.

The negative aspects of traditional dentures include the slipping of ill-fitting dentures causing gum irritation, speech and eating problems, oral infections caused by insufficient sterilization of the dentures and further bone loss from not having the support All-On-4® offers when it comes to protecting the natural shape of your jaw.
